Speak up.
If you like someone, tell them. If you love someone, make sure they know of your feelings. If you messed up, apologize. If you have something to say, scream it on the top of your lungs so they will understand. By default, humans rarely ever say the things they want to. Most of the time (about 98%), the statement you hear will most likely be an “edited” version or one that will not accommodate any truth to it at all. The brain of a human is like a premium filter that stops the truth from coming out of a person’s mouth. Because we often do not speak up and tell people how we really feel, we loose so many amazing opportunities. We make mistakes by stupidly assuming the truth. And we often let good things pass by because we’re too afraid to actually speak up. So next time when you’re feeling conflicted in anyway, make sure to let everything go and let others know where exactly it is that you stand.

Well, this is it. My first post. May 8th 2011; Unemployed, low, with a dream of opening a store. A year later, 4000 posts, almost 500k followers, 90m page views and over 6000 order placed with my store. Thank you.
It’s 1am, I sweeeear I have rewritten this about 24ioukjenwkln times, I’m trying to find the best way to say Thank you. This has been a life changing opportunity, I know it probably sounds crazy, but it has been. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you who have chosen to follow kushandwizdom. You guys are beyond DOPE! Throughout this year I have uploaded quotes, some unknown, some famous and some submitted, with the aim to inspire, motivate and uplift you all. I hope it has :). I’ve had a great time here on tumblr and I hope it continues.

I hunt. He bakes. Haymitch drinks. We have our own ways to stay busy, to keep thoughts of our time as contestants in the Hunger Games at bay.
You’re nothing but a memory now.
The places we went to are still there. The songs we used to sing to still have the same tune. The movies used to watch still have the same ending. Everything from the past still stays, but it deeply saddens me that we don’t exist anymore. What can we do? We don’t feel the same anymore, well at least I’m sure you don’t. It’s hard to get over somebody you did everything with. You’re fine when you’re the furthest away from anything that reminds you of that person. But as soon as you pass that place you had you’re first date at, hear your old theme song, or see that a movie you watched in theaters is now on DVD, I don’t know. Everything comes back to you. You just sit there with a sad smile. It’s all you can do. Who knows? Maybe you’ll be back together in the future, but as of now, it’s nothing but a memory.
